Position Overview The Western North Carolina Conference of The United Methodist Church is seeking a strategic, mission-driven financial leader to serve as its Conference Treasurer/Director of Administrative Services. This executive-level role functions as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Annual Conference and is responsible for the overall financial leadership, stewardship, and administrative operations of the organization. The Treasurer plays a critical role in advancing the Conference’s mission and in supporting the mission of The United Methodist Church (¶120) and the ethos expressed in the General Rules (¶104) by ensuring sound financial management, long-term sustainability, and effective support of ministry across the region.
