Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church (PHPC) is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA), called by God, redeemed by Jesus Christ, sustained by the Holy Spirit, seeking to grow in faith and Christian discipleship.
The ministries and mission of the church are guided by PHPC’s vision statement: Trusting that all belong to God. Living like we belong to one another. This statement was created and adopted by the Session (the elected leadership body) of the congregation after much discernment. PHPC believes our purpose is to be a community in which people belong, no matter where they are on their journey of faith, life, or love.
Purpose: To serve the church by providing pastoral care in coordination with the Senior Associate Pastor. This position is responsible for following all policies and core processes that embody the PHPC Core Values.
Accountability: The Parish Associate shall be directly responsible to the Senior Associate Pastor and, through them, to the Staff Committee. The Senior Associate Pastor will review the Parish Associate's performance in accordance with procedures established by the Staff Committee.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide pastoral care in coordination with the Senior Associate Pastor.
Pray for the church during the time of pastoral service.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Associate Pastor.

Required Schedule: to be discussed with Senior Associate Pastor. (Average of 10 hours per week)
