Job Title: ACFstudents Pastor
Location: Austin, TX
Reports To: Next Generation and Ministries Pastor FLSA Status: Full-time, Exempt
Work Week: Sunday through Thursday, on ACF campus
Job purpose
To lead 6th through 12th grade students in our community to know, love and serve Jesus Christ. Develop, share and execute the vision of Austin Christian Fellowship (ACF) students, to fill our city with bright, Godly, capable leaders. Oversee all student ministry services, volunteers, events & student ministry involvement with ACF as a whole.
Duties and Responsibilities

Leadership
- Bring energy, vision & strategy to ACF’s student
- Supervise, manage, lead & develop ACFstudents staff (including Summer Staff).
- Meet with ACFstudents staff regularly as a team, as well as
- Lead development of volunteer small group leaders and other volunteer
- Be a leader within the ACF staff and ministries, attending weekly worship, and being involved in other Highly encouraged to participate in an ACF small group.
Relationships
- Participate weekly in contact work, meeting with current ACF students and students in the community through school and community activities.
- Attend students’ school activities, lunches, and
- Develop discipleship relationships with students and volunteer
- Oversee and develop the small group leaders and step in when
- Connect with and communicate with Student Ministry parents regularly, through personal contact during church services and events, as well as email communication and other forms of Develop strong relationships with parents.

Teaching
- Teach in a large group setting 2-3 times per

Ongoing Ministry
- Direct the vision of ACFstudents’ digital and online presence including social media and communication with parents and students.
- Direct curriculum decisions for monthly and weekly series plans and supervise curriculum distribution.

- Supervise and provide vision for the planning and execution of weekly worship gatherings.

- A minimum of 2 years significant leadership experience in a ministry setting, preferably including oversight of multiple paid staff and/or volunteers
- Above reproach in character and inspires this in others
- Solid understanding of God’s Word and able to communicate the Gospel in a variety of settings
- Relational leader with the ability to build and lead teams
- Self-starting hard worker who pursues excellence in ministry and has fun while doing it
- Demonstrated personal and professional commitment to prayer, worship, community involvement, and missions
