Sandy Springs United Methodist Church is seeking a full-time Business Manager. The Business Manager will provide professional leadership and oversight to the general administrative functions of the church, including: personnel, facilities, finances, and stewardship development. Leadership will be in alignment with the church’s mission, vision, and goals.
The Business Manager will be the staff member responsible for church financial administration, supervising a part-time Finance Assistant; Facility use and management, supervising a full-time Facilities Director; Updating, creating and implementing Church and Preschool human resources policies and procedures; and general day-to-day operations.
Qualifications
A passionate disciple of Jesus Christ who is committed to the mission and vision of the church
Experience in Church Business Administration or related field
Experience with Human Resources policies and best practices
Experience supervising employees and working with volunteers
Facility with financial reporting, processes, and budgeting
Experience and familiarity with ACS preferred
Experience and familiarity with United Methodist policies and procedures preferred
Hours and Pay
Full Time, Exempt
Salary Commensurate with Experience, Includes Pension and Health Benefits
