Under the direction of the Business Administrator, manages the finance, accounting, and employee payroll in accordance with established principals and standards. Performs routine accounting work related to contributions, accounts payable, bank reconciliation, cash management, general ledger entries, etc. Administers employee payroll and employee benefits to ensure timely distribution of employee paychecks, W-2 forms, federal and state tax deposits, etc.,
This role is more than simply financial bookkeeping as it involves active participation in the financial management of the church's ministries.
All applicants are to have previously professed faith and belief in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, and be actively engaged in a local gospel-centered church.
Applicants should have a college degree with related experience.
Applicants should possess an understanding of the financial aspects of local church ministries while also having an in-depth understanding of large church ministries.
