Responsible for the church’s comprehensive video communications strategy to advance the mission and goals of First Presbyterian Church. The Video/Livestream Coordinator will perform all aspects of video storytelling from pre to postproduction for worship and church event livestream, social media, website, etc. As a full-time program staff position, significant interaction with the life of the congregation requires attendance and participation in events and programs outside of office hours.
Bachelors degree in film, video production, digital media, telecommunications, or related field is required. A minimum of 5-8 years of progressive post-college work experience in video production, broadcast and live show experience is required along with proficiency with major video editors such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Final Cut Pro, Avid, etc. Audio editing and knowledge of sound and lighting techniques for stage and studio required. Must be able to set-up and strike show style/broadcast events. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and church calendar software required to coordinate work schedule. Familiarity and experience with congregational life is necessary. This position requires a self-starting individual with excellent collaboration skills who works positively in a team-based environment. The individual must be dependable and flexible with the ability to effectively organize and prioritize their workload.
