Responsible for planning, developing, and supervising the total Christian Education program for children birth through 5th grade in accordance with the policies and directions of the Christian Nurture Committee; serving as a resource and caregiver for church families with children; recruiting and training educational leaders; serving as a resource in curriculum for various age groups; supervising the Director of the Early Education Center, and guiding the development of models and program for the EEC and the church’s ministries with children and their families.
College degree is required with emphasis in children’s education and religious education; 3-5 years direct experience is desirable. Planning and leadership skills, as well as the ability to recruit and train educational leaders and develop and evaluate curriculum for various age groups are essential. Good organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills are required. Mental concentration is necessary for handling frequent interruptions while performing tasks.
Employer will assist with relocation costs.
