The Custodial and Facilities Manager is to provide custodial services and maintenance to ensure the facilities are maintained at the highest level while providing a safe and comfortable environment for staff, church members, and the public.
As lead custodian, you will develop schedules and supervise outside cleaning services to ensure weekly duties are completed in preparation for all events and services. Responsible for building security and coordinating the use of alarms, locking and un-locking building. Perform routine repairs and maintenance activities including light plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC work as necessary, in coordination with the Building and Grounds Committee. Inspect, evaluate, and report possible facilities and grounds issues to committee. Implement Preventative Maintenance System on fixed and movable equipment. Purchase and maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and maintenance items. Responsible for set-up and take-down for events and meetings. Work with outside vendors to schedule repairs and receive bids. Attend weekly staff meetings to acquire knowledge and provide assistance with event needs and calendar scheduling. Work with Business Administrator in preparation of annual housekeeping budgets.
Qualifications: Must have strong customer service skills and the ability to work in harmony with other staff in carrying out the ministry of the Church. Must be mechanically inclined and have ability to perform routine maintenance repairs.

Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent with two years of experience working in custodial and maintenance roles.
