2000+ member Jamestown United Methodist Church, in the Triad of NC, seeks a full-time Business and Financial Administrator. Candidates should have a four-year college degree in Business, Finance and/or Accounting. Prefer 5 years of experience in Business Administration or related field. Clear faith in Jesus Christ and servant’s heart is expected. Also willingness to serve on a team of dedicated ministry professionals.
Responsibilities include accounts payable, compiling yearly church budget, supervising and coordinating with part-time Financial Secretary for donation and banking activities, and working with outside vendor to manage payroll activity. The Business Administrator also acts as Human Resources Coordinator, works with Shelby Systems church software to keep the general ledger in order, and processes donations from our church mobile app.
