Purpose: This position will serve Holy Trinity Lutheran Church by: •Providing overall direction and administration of our campus facility and business needs. •Supporting, facilitating, and enhancing the work of the staff and congregation, ensuring that people, programs and facilities operate efficiently within approved budget and with available resources. •Helping to create a Christ centered team relationship between staff, volunteers and others involved in the Support Services Manager’s areas of responsibility. •Providing regular reports to the Leadership Board and Voters’ Assembly. Major Areas of Responsibility Campus Operation and Maintenance to include the overall management of campus security, janitorial, grounds, lighting, HVAC, plumbing, fire alarms, roofing, windows, painting, flooring, parking lots and vehicles. Technology to include management or outsourcing of networks, firewalls, desktop pc’s, wifi, telephone system, security cameras, various church and business software applications, digital displays, led signs, energy management systems, lighting management systems, reprographics, smartboards and mailing systems. Management to include compliance with IRS requirements/laws as related to churches such as UBIT, private inurement, housing allowances, accountable reimbursement plans, human resources, insurance, strategic planning, facility use, energy management, emergency preparedness, safety, contract management and volunteer coordination. Campus Master Plan to include preparation and maintenance of a five year plan, oversight/selection of architects or design build contractors and overall supervision of all construction projects.
Accounting and Finance to include, along with the Treasurer, supervision and management of a bookkeeper or outsourced provider of bookkeeping and payroll services.
Experience •Bachelor’s degree in business, IT or a related field or equivalent experience preferred. •3-5 years experience in similar position for a church or non-profit preferred. •Background in facility management and information technology required. Experience with payroll, bookkeeping and accounting preferred. Church or non-profit experience desirable. Track record of organizational leadership preferred. Key Skills Strong written and oral communication ability. Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work in a team environment with all staff and key leaders in the organization to achieve the goals, principles and missions of the church. Excellent organizational skills, time management and strategic thinking. Applicant must be able to lift 50lbs and have the dexterity to carry out maintenance and light furniture and equipment moves. Strong IT skills preferred including a background with networking and MS Office and Windows operating systems. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information, including but not limited to church member contributions and personnel matters. Timely and consistent attendance and availability in the evenings and weekends for on-call emergencies or meetings. A strong Christian faith.

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church is a growing church and school in the suburb of Edmond just north of Oklahoma City. It is a 15 acre campus, 50000sq ft, 1400 members and a school from preK - 8th grade of about 200 students.
